A coast with range

Ponta da Piedade sits close to Lagos and works well on a trip with stops for a swim and a look at the rock formations. Access to certain caves depends on the sea, the size of the yacht and the use of a support tender.
For Benagil, Portimão can be a more logical departure point. Sagres lies in the opposite direction and exposes the boat to more open conditions. Trying to gather Benagil, Ponta da Piedade and Sagres into the same day tends to take time away from the stops and from lunch.
